During a guided healing session, I actually call in your guides to be present. They know what's best and I am able to blend their channeled guidance for you with my knowledge of healing modalities. Together, each session provides profound insights and a step forward in your journey.
There is usually a little homework to help you integrate and stay committed. Those who do the homework find themselves further along in their process as they continue to do the work in between sessions.
An array of modalities can be used, but the basis of each session starts with 1. Grounding and Centering 2. Somatic Work
Below, you can read about other healing methods that may be used, depending on your needs during the session.
Many of our deep-rooted issues as adults stem from childhood events where our needs were not met. All children need to feel loved, safe, and valued. When these needs are not met by caregivers, problems arise in adulthood, such as addiction, anxiety, and insecurities.
Inner child work is a trauma-informed approach that goes back to address the needs of your inner child at the times when they needed love and safety.
Body-based therapies to help clear out stored trauma from the body and then restore the body (and spirit) to feeling more vibrant and alive.
This may include TRE and self-myofascial release techniques. Both work to release long-held stuck energy from the body. With consistent practice, you'll notice a difference in your healing and how you feel.
Unresolved trauma can cause a person to live in states of hyper or hypo arousal as their baseline...when triggered, this can cause a person to spin out of control/become explosive, run away (hyper) or shut down/zone out (hypo).
Learn techniques to feel grounded, calm, and centered so that stressful situations or a change in your environment does not overwhelm you.
Somatic yoga therapy helps those who are stuck in the mind with racing thoughts, to connect to their bodies, to feel and listen to what their bodies are saying.
With guidance, you'll be able to access emotions in the body and begin to process them in a safe container.
Somatic work has proven benefits for PTSD, anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues.
For those who have had a difficult plant medicine journey and need guidance in grounding and processing what came up, a guided session can help.
I've had plenty of harrowing plant medicine experiences that I've learned to process, and also completed a Trauma-Informed Plant Medicine Facilitation/Integration Program through Aya Healing Retreats.
